The Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology at CMTC prepares students to become skilled eye care professionals who support ophthalmologists and optometrists in diagnosing and managing eye diseases and vision problems. With the increasing burden of visual impairments in Kenya and beyond, this course trains learners to provide quality, affordable eye care services in hospitals, clinics, and outreach programs.
Students gain hands-on experience in eye screening, vision testing, optical dispensing, and assisting in minor ophthalmic procedures.
