Diploma in Community Health &Development

The Diploma in Community Health and Development course offered at Cleveland Medical Training college empowers participants with skills for effective community development and public health management. This course aims at equiping students with skills to undertake commnuinty health care assistant work including Disease prevention, creating awareness and enhancing community health wellness.This is a 2 year course examined by TVET CDACC.

An individual will be awarded a Certificate of Competency on demonstration of competence in a unit of competency. To be awarded Certificate in Community Health Certificate Level 6, an individual must demonstrate competence in all the units of competency.

Entry Requirements

An individual entering this course should have any of the following minimum requirements:

  1. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C- (minus)

Or

  1. Certificate Level 5 in Community Health

Or

  1. Equivalent qualifications as determined by Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA)

And/or

  1. As may be guided by relevant regulatory body
