COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is designed to equip an individual with competencies required to participate in provision of health services support in a hospital set up. It entails Participating in infection prevention and control, performing hospital housekeeping procedures and executing supportive store procedures.
Patient attendants take care of a patient’s basic needs, whether they’re in a hospital, nursing facility, or in a home setting.
At Cleveland medical training college, will also equip you with strong communication skills and relevant skills necessary to help you fulfil your tasks.
Caregivers provide basic patient care. They are also responsible for helping patients with a number of basic hygiene tasks.
This includes bathing and dressing patients, helping them use the toilet if needed, and feeding them. Care givers also help patients turn and reposition themselves in bed as needed and help them move between the bed and a wheelchair if they use one.

Entry Requirements:
An individual entering this course should have any of the following minimum requirements:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade E Or
- Equivalent qualifications as determined by Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) And/or
- As may be guided by relevant regulatory body
- National ID or passport
- A passion for caregiving and working with vulnerable populations
Certification:
Upon successful completion, students will receive certification from TVET CDACC and Health Logic, recognized both locally and internationally.
